Mr. Daniel L. Taylor, Sr.
Daniel L. Taylor, Sr., has engaged in the private practice of law for over thirty-six years, and currently maintains law offices in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Taylor is the founder and Principal of ElderlawEldercare Planning Services, a private law firm providing creative solutions to the long-term legal, financial, and medical care planning needs of Senior Adults and their families.
Having received his B.A. degree with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Mr. Taylor earned his J.D. Degree from the Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is a practicing member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the North Carolina Bar Association, Section on Elderlaw and Section on Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law. Mr. Taylor is also a member of The Academy of Special Needs Planners.
Mr. Taylor has been a frequent lecturer at various seminars on Elder Law, Elder Care, Estate Planning, Long-Term Planning, and various other business, financial, real estate, and tax subjects before professional, religious, and business groups.
In addition, Mr. Taylor currently hosts his own radio show, entitled “The Seniors’ Forum” on Charlotte radio station OLDIES 106.1 FM, every Saturday morning, at 9:00 am.
Mr. Taylor has been happily married for over 30 years. His wife, Becky, and their two grown children, Rebecca and Dan Jr. currently reside in the Charlotte-Metro area. Mr. Taylor is proud to announce that he just recently became a grand-father this past June.
